Product Review: dermalogica - intensive eye repair ♡

I’m Backkkk! Yes I know it has been far too long since the last time I wrote to you guys! Hope you have all been well!

My apologies for the lack of posts lately, I have been SO busy the past few weeks. I commenced study at the start of February and started a new job in the same week so there’s been a lot of organising etc going on. Not only that, I’ve been a little tired. It was a big adjustment going from doing practically nothing (I haven’t worked since before Christmas last year – eek!) to suddenly studying and working, all starting within the same week. However, the good news is that my study and employment are both in the beauty industry so I will have lots of information, knowledge and tips to share with you guys! The fact that I will not only be able to write based on personal experience and opinion, but will soon be able to give you advice on a professional level excites me so much! I hope you’re all looking forward to that just as much as I am :)

Okay, review time! As most of you probably already know, I am now working alongside the skin care line ‘dermalogica’. Can I just say, YAY! I’ve only tried a few products since starting and already, I am in L.O.V.E! I cannot wait to try so many more products of theirs… I have a feeling most of my collection will soon be dermalogica :p

The first dermalogica product I am reviewing for you guys is their intensive eye repair (pictured above). I chose to write about this one first as the results from this product appeared almost immediately for me! I am a huge fan of eye creams and this one is now by far my favourite!

I can see a significant improvement in the fine lines around my eyes and my eye area is looking and feeling much more hydrated since using this product.

The ingredients include Vitamin A, Wild Yam Extract and Pro Vitamin B to help combat the signs of premature ageing and damage as well as skin replenishing phytonutrients to help increase elasticity and skin texture. It also contains Vitamin C and E plus Grapeseed Extract to shield the delicate eye area against further environmental damage.

Like all of dermalogica’s products, it’s free from common irritants and ingredients that can cause breakouts etc (including lanolin, SD alcohol, mineral oil, artificial colors and fragrances).

One of my favourite things about this eye cream is how great is looks underneath my makeup. Applying makeup over this product is a dream! In the past I have struggled to find an eye treatment that doesn’t go oily or look patchy underneath my eye makeup. Not this time! My makeup looks so good, it’s as though this eye cream works as a primer. It creates the perfect base on my eye area for flawless makeup application.
When wearing dermalogica intensive eye repair, my eye makeup stays on all day and looks smooth. No line enhancement that can sometimes happen when wearing makeup around the eye area.
Seriously guys, what’s not to love!?

I apply this product before my face moisturiser, after I have cleansed and toned, patting it into my eye area blending inward from the outer corner.
You only need the tiniest amount (less than half a pea size) so this product is sure to last you a long time.
Make sure to pat the treatment very gently onto your skin, as the area around your eyes is very delicate and thin compared to the rest of the skin on your face. Never press heavily or pull the area when applying your eye cream.

dermalogica products are only available from quality skin care professionals trained at the International Dermal Institute so you won’t find them at your local supermarket or chemist (drug store) but there are plenty of locations to purchase them from including day spas and beauty salons etc..

You can also purchase them online (Australia) here.

I think this is a fantastic product and I am so happy it’s now a part of my skincare routine. I honestly couldn’t be more pleased. It’s perfect for my skin and current concerns.
I highly recommend dermalogica intensive eye repair if you’re suffering from any dehydration or premature aging. It’s a win!

One last thing I wanted to mention before saying see ya later is a fellow blogger that I think you should all follow.  This lovely girl has the most amazing reviews! She is a new blogger (like myself) but already, I have learnt so much from her. I check her page almost every day to see if she has posted something new! Her posts are mostly all beauty related, are informative, well written and super fun. She has a great personality!
Not only is this lady a great blogger, but she is also a beautiful person. A few days ago, when she had seen that I received a nasty message on my blog, she went out of her way to send me a message telling me how much she LOVED my blog and Instagram. How sweet! It’s people like her that make it worth it and remind you that for every bad person out there, there are 100 good ones! Thank you Jess!

You can find Jess’s blog ‘DreamOfThis’ here.

Ah, it feels so good to have finally gotten a new post up for you guys! I hope you enjoyed it! Again, sorry I’ve been so slack. I will definitely try and be more consistent with my posts.
I will have a lot of homework etc for a while and I’ll be a lot busier than usual so it may take a bit more adjusting but I’ll get into a good post routine soon enough, promise!

Anyway have a great weekend guys! Chat to you soon :)

Random Health/Beauty Tip: Fish Oil ♡

Fish Oil capsules have been a part of my diet for years. I strongly believe in their health benefits and can definitely notice a difference in myself if I ever have a break in between bottles – my skin won’t have the same glow, my hair isn’t as shiny and my nails weaken. As silly as it may sound to some, I also feel that my memory isn’t as strong when I don’t have enough Omega-3 in my diet! Maybe my imagination *lol* but that’s how I really feel.

Here are some of the health/beauty benefits from taking Fish Oil:

  • Bone Health. According to studies, Omega-3 is vital in maintaining bone mineral density.
  • Muscle Health. Our muscles continue to burn calories even while we sleep. Adding Fish Oil to your diet will help prevent muscle loss and preserve muscle, even while dieting.
  • Brain Health. A diet lacking in Omega-3 may cause your brain to age faster and lose some of its thinking and memory abilities. Adding Fish Oil to your diet can help to keep your brain healthy and improve your cognitive functioning.
  • Osteoarthritis/Joint Pain. Taking Omega-3 Fish Oil daily can significantly reduce the signs and symptoms of Osteoarthritis and cut the inflammatory process of joint pain in half.
  • Cholesterol and Blood Pressure. Research has shown that taking Fish Oil keeps your heart healthy and lowers risk of heart disease.
  • Healthy Hair. Omega-3 has the ability to combat dry and brittle hair, hair loss, dry, flaky scalp and reduced circulation to the scalp. A diet rich in Omega-3 fatty acids adds luster, sheen and elasticity to your hair, as both DHA and EPA (fatty acids within Omega-3) are vital for the nourishment of hair follicles. Omega-3 can also help restart hair growth, help hair grow quicker and stronger and even prevent or reverse hair loss.
  • Healthy Skin. The essential fatty acids contained within fish oil are vital to skin health. They provide a rich source of moisture, which gives your skin that beautiful dewy healthy glow. Fish Oil can also combat and prevent the signs of aging by protecting our skin from some of the harmful effects from the sun.
  • Healthy Nails. Deficiencies in Omega-3 fatty acids can increase your risk of dry and brittle nails. Ensuring that you have enough Omega-3 in your diet can help to lubricate and moisturise your nails and prevent nail disorders.

Need any more convincing? I didn’t think so! ;)

I like to keep up my Omega-3 intake by taking the Fish Oil Capsules pictured above (purchased from my local Chemist). I take two with breakfast and another two with dinner every day.
However, there are other ways to have an Omega-3 rich diet without having to purchase oil or capsules.
Fish such as salmon, tuna, mackerel, herring and sardines are all good sources of Omega-3 fatty acids as are a number of nuts: brazil nuts, cashews, almonds, pistachios, pecans, peanuts and seeds: pumpkin seeds, sunflower seeds, flax seeds and sesame seeds.
Although I regularly consume salmon and seeds, I feel as though it’s not quite enough so I choose to also take the supplement. You can purchase supplements from places such as supermarkets and chemists (drug stores).

So guys, I highly recommend including Omega-3 Fish Oil into your diet to improve your skin, hair and nails as well as all the inner health benefits mentioned. It’s definitely worth it!

I hope you enjoyed this ‘Random Health/Beauty Tip’ post! I have many up my sleeve so this will be a regular type of post from me :)

High End VS Low End Products & Moisturising On A Budget ♡

Hi Lovlies!

So in my last post “Daily Smooth Skin Routine♡” I told you guys that I would be writing about a cheaper alternative to the body moisturiser I have been using of late. I usually like to shell out and spend a little extra on my skincare products as it’s something that’s very important to me and if I can afford it, why not? In saying that, at the moment I’m a little strapped for cash being it the most expensive time of year for me so I’ve had to search around and find a good drug store/supermarket body moisturiser to hold me over for a little while.

Rather than solely giving you guys a review on the great drug store/supermarket moisturiser I picked up, I wanted to first of all let you know what some of the differences are between high and low end products and why some of them are more expensive than others.

Is it necessary to spend a large amount on a body moisturiser? In my opinion, most of the time, yes. As much as I don’t like to admit it, the best moisturisers do tend to be at the pricier end of the scale. Of course, this is not always the case. Sometimes the reason a product can be more expensive is simply because of the “brand” name, the pretty packaging or the marketing and advertising costs.
A lot of excellent drug store products are available at a fraction of the price because they hold back on on the expensive advertising and “cute” packaging but are still up to standard when it comes to quality.
However, some of the respectable reasons for a product to be more expensive (and the reason why I choose to spend more) can be the money spent on the sound research and development of the product and the expensive high quality ingredients that go into the product.
A lot more goes into making a good quality skincare product than most of us are actually aware of. For example, sourcing some of the ingredients can be a very difficult process and a lot of very beneficial ingredients are rare and hard to come by, some only being available at certain times of the year or from only place in the world. Other reasons that are partly why a skincare product can be more expensive is getting the product to the proper pH level, figuring out the right percentage of an active ingredient and basically ensuring that the product has good durability as a whole and will have a higher success rate with your skin. Those reasons and the experiences I’ve had over the years in the Beauty Industry and just general trial of different (high and low end) products is why I choose to spend extra money on cosmetics, especially skincare, when I can afford it. It’s just a case of doing your research and figuring out why that product costs what it does and whether or not it’s going to be worth it.

Now to finally let you guys know which cheaper body moisturiser I have decided to use at the moment and why :)

Palmers Cocoa Butter Formula with Vitamin E – Fragrance Free.

So far, I’m loving this product! I definitely think this is one of the better drug store/supermarket brands.

Although it feels like quite a thick consistency in your hand, a little bit goes a LONG way and it it’s immediately absorbed into your skin leaving no greasy after feel. It leaves my skin feeling smooth and hydrated without feeling as though I need to reapply for about two days. Pretty decent if you ask me!

I read on the Palmer’s website that Cocoa Butter is sourced from the fruit of the Cacao Tree; which grows deep in the tropical jungles of the equatorial Americas.
Like Chocolate, Palmer’s Cocoa Butter Formula melts on contact with skin to penetrate deeply and seal in moisture.
Their website also stated that other moisturisers contain mostly water that evaporates within half an hour to leave your skin even drier. Palmer’s Cocoa Butter Formula is made with 100% pure Cocoa Butter enriched with Vitamin E to smooth and soothe with long lasting effects. I definitely have to agree with that!

Cocoa Butter addresses skin concerns such as roughness, loss of elasticity, scars and dryness. It’s an all-natural skin conditioning plant extract loaded with essential fatty acids. It softens and protects by diminishing water loss, keeping skin hydrated and supple. The website also advises that Vitamin E is contained in all of Palmer’s products. A top antioxidant that enhances the protective function of skin and decreases the appearance of lines, wrinkles, and scars by keeping cells hydrated.

I decided to purchase the Fragrance Free formula as I like to be able to moisturise absolutely everywhere on my body without any irritation… if you know what I mean ladies ;) The Fragrance Free formula is hypoallergenic and suitable for sensitive skin as well so if you’re not too fussed about having a strongly scented moisturiser, this one in my opinion is the best choice.
It claims to blend and smooth unattractive marks and scars but I haven’t noticed a difference in the scars that I do have as yet. I have only been using the product for just under a month so perhaps it’s too early for me to give an opinion on that claim. It’s also said to be a great after tanning butter and is widely recommended for stretch marks.
Use daily. Like I always suggest, use directly after showering for best results.
I purchased my Palmer’s Cocoa Butter Formula from my local Coles Supermarket for under $10.00AU – Bargain!

Well I hope this post gave you guys a little more understanding of what goes into the expense of creating a good skincare product and was somewhat helpful in you making an informed decision when you purchase your next product.

Yes skincare can sometimes be expensive but I believe that good quality certainly makes a difference. Another point I should mention with really good quality expensive products is that they are made so that you only have to use the smallest amount ensuring that the product will last you a long time. Unfortunately not the case with the last Kiehl’s moisturiser I was using but I have been recommended two products that I’ve never tried before that do last so I’m very excited to try them! They are on the more expensive side of life so it may be a little while before I can get my hands on them but I’ll definitely let you guys know how they are when I do. *Yes I am a body moisturiser junkie!*

So in the end, no, it is not essential that you spend a crazy amount of money on products and you can definitely find good quality products (like Palmer’s) if you do your research but a good moisturiser that makes you happy and brings your skin to its full potential is definitely worth it. Just keep that in mind :)

Hope you guys have all been well :) I’m currently sitting inside with the air conditioning on full blast and I’m still so hot I think even my elbows are sweating! If you’re in Melbourne or pretty much anywhere in Australia at the moment, you’ll know what I’m talking about. It’s been over 40 degrees pretty much every day this week. Crazy!

Have a good one guys :) Chat to you soon! If you have any questions, comments or requests, like always, please contact me via my “Ask Me Anything” tab or shoot me an email – links are on my Tumblr page.

Daily Smooth Skin Routine ♡

Hi guys! I hope everyone is having a lovely 2014 so far :) I’ve been enjoying having some time off, relaxing with my boyfriend, family and friends. It’s been great! I love the Summer time. ♡

Now to get into today’s post :)

As you may have seen, I previously blogged about a beautiful coffee body scrub - Frank Body. It’s an amazing exfoliating and softening product that I like to use around once a week. It’s quite an intense exfoliant so for me, once a week is enough. Plus using it this way obviously makes the product last a lot longer than if you were to use it every day.

Although I like to give my skin a break from Frank Body, I still like to lightly exfoliate my skin every time I shower and follow with a nice moisturiser.

I usually use Kiehl’s for my body. These are my two favourite products  (pictured above). I use the Soy Milk & Honey Body Polish first to exfoliate whilst I’m in the shower and then follow with the Superbly Restorative Argan Body Lotion once I’m out of the shower and patted dry - never rub yourself dry after the shower as it will dry out your skin. It’s best to moisturise while your skin is still slightly damp so it soaks up as much hydration as possible.

I’ve been using the scrub for years, it smells delicious and exfoliates effectively without being harsh and the argan body lotion is a new lotion from Kiehl’s that I’ve used for a few months now and LOVE. It leaves my skin hydrated for days! It’s a little oily when first applied but very quickly absorbs into the skin leaving no excess oil. It’s amazing! Love love love it! It has a nice citrus scent as well :) My only issue with the lotion is that it does tend to run out quicker than other moisturises that I’ve used in the past and being a ‘high end’ product with a ‘high end’ price, it can get a little expensive if you’re having to repurchase it often. I will be doing a review shortly on a cheaper alternative I picked up from a supermarket recently. I love it and so far it’s working for me just as well as my high end faves so stay tuned!

All in all though, the combination of these two Kiehl’s products works really well for me. Perfect for daily soft smooth skin all over! Great for the Summer months when our skin is on show and also great for the Winter period when our skin tends to dry out.

Definitely recommend trying out these beauties! I purchase mine from either my local Myer or David Jones department stores.

Please let me know if you have any questions, comments or requests via my “Ask Me Anything” tab or by emailing me at kelly-walton@live.com - Happy to get back to all of you in regards to anything!

Enjoy the rest of your day/night :)

Currently Loving: Kate Somerville Oil Free Moisturizer ♡

Thank goodness I came across this gem of a product! It is ah-mazinggg!

I’ve been using this moisturiser for around three months now and I couldn’t be happier. Lightweight, oil-free and still really hydrating at the same time – Perfect!

I have combination to oily skin and in the past have suffered from the odd breakout here and there but since using this product my skin has virtually cleared up completely and I’ve had no new breakouts.  Again, I couldn’t be happier! It seems that I’ve found the perfect formula for my skin at the moment and I’ll definitely be continuing to repurchase and use this product.

I was previously using REN’s (discontinued) Clear Calm Day Fluid and was advised to try the Kate Somerville Oil Free Moisturizer as an alternative thanks to the lovely staff at Mecca Cosmetica.  I’m so glad. I actually prefer this product MUCH more. I have never found a moisturiser this hydrating without looking “shiny” or oily by the end of the day. Using this product I am left with an almost “velvet like” soft feel and my skin looks supple and smooth with no oil and no dryness. My skin is perfectly balanced. Not to mention, it also leaves the perfect base for applying makeup :)

Kate Somerville Oil Free Moisturizer contains beneficial ingredients such as Pepha-Tight which helps to diminish the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles, Red Marine Algae that helps to improve elasticity and Sepilift to firm and smooth. It’s also free of oils, parabens and fragrances, which is something I always look for in skincare for my face.

If you’re looking for a great moisturiser that hydrates without making you look clogged and oily, try this product!! Can’t rave about it enough!

I picked up my Kate Somerville Oil Free Moisturizer from my local Mecca Cosmetica store for $75.00AU
They are also available to purchase online at:
http://www.meccacosmetica.com.au/shop/KateSomerville/OilFreeMoisturiser/

Kate Somerville Skincare has a number of products and lines that cater for most skin types. I highly recommend taking a look at the products available in her range, as I’m sure no matter what skin type you have, there will be something beneficial for you :)

Hope you enjoyed this “Currently Loving” post guys :) This will be a regular type of post from me. I’m always falling in love with products and enjoy nothing more than sharing my great finds with people!

Also… HAPPY NEW YEAR!!  Hope you all had a great 2013 and that your 2014 is even bigger and better. Best of luck and warm wishes to you all :) Hope all of your 2014 dreams come true!

Post Christmas Healthy Recipe - Kelly’s Spicy Coconut Lamb Stir-fry ♡

Hi guys :)

Hope you all had a lovely Christmas! The weather was beautiful here in Melbourne, perfect for celebrating outside with friends, family, drinks and LOTS of food!

I’m sure we’re all trying to get back into the swing of things now and get back into a healthy routine after the festive food filled month we’ve had so I thought I’d share with you guys one of my favourite healthy recipes to cook for dinner (which I’ll be cooking tonight as my first healthy meal since Christmas!). It’s my own creation, very simple, yummy, quick to make and super healthy!

Serves Two.

  • Small dollop of coconut oil
  • 200g diced lamb from Butcher
  • 1 large organic carrot cut into 4cm sized sticks or thin circular slices
  • 1 to 2 large diced organic squash
  • Generous handful of organic green beans cut into 2cm sized sticks
  • 200ml Organic Coconut Milk
  • Pinch of cayenne pepper, paprika, ground chilli powder, Himalayan pink rock salt and organic whole black pepper
  • Dash of chilli sauce to taste

Although I use a non-stick pan, I still like to grease the pan with a dollop of coconut oil before I start cooking.
Once the pan is heated, cook the diced lamb on low heat until lightly browned adding the spices whilst it’s cooking. Add the carrots and beans before the lamb has cooked through and cook until soft before adding the squash. Once all of your vegies are soft and the meat is cooked to your liking, add the coconut milk and simmer for 5 to 10 minutes or until thickened. Whilst simmering, I like to taste and add chilli sauce depending on how spicy I would like the dish to turn out.

Serve into two bowls and wah-lah! Tasty, healthy, home cooked meal :)

Please note that you don’t need to use organic foods! I prefer to cook this way (when I can afford it…) but the same taste and result can be achieved with standard supermarket products.

I love this meal so much! It’s so easy to make, filling, tastes delicious, has lots of vitamins etc from the vegetables and gets your metabolism moving with the spices.

Hope you enjoyed this recipe :)

Product Review – Frank Body Coffee Scrub (original)

First of all, I LOVE body scrubs! They have been a part of my skincare routine since I was a teen. I always use a mild scrub every time I shower to gently exfoliate and smooth my skin in preparation to moisturise my body as soon as I’m out of the shower (the best time to moisturise as your skin is still damp and will soak up as much hydration as possible).

Although using a mild scrub almost every day has been effective at keeping my skin smooth and somewhat free of dead skin, nothing could have prepared me for the incredible results from using Frank’s Original Coffee Scrub! (Pictured above on the right with the pink label).

It is to die for.

My skin felt soft and smooth like I have never experienced before. Even my skin tone seemed to have evened up! It definitely felt like it had exfoliated every last bit of dead skin off my body and moisturising my skin afterwards was like a dream. My body had already soaked up the essential oils and minerals from Frank’s Coffee Scrub making my skin so hydrated and soft that my moisturiser effortlessly sunk into my skin within seconds. Not only that, being coffee, the scrub smells SO GOOD! It’s like showering in a deliciously rich coffee smelling café! Ah, I think it’s love :p I will now make this scrub a permanent part of my skincare routine, getting dirty with Frank at LEAST once a week.

So anyway, what IS Frank’s Coffee Scrub and why is it so good?
It’s actually not that complicated at all. As Frank says, “To be frank, I’m a simple coffee scrub”.
Okay not as simple as just coffee… There are a few other great beneficial ingredients that make this scrub the perfection that it is but it’s simple in the fact that there’s not a long list of harsh or unnatural products which is one of my favourite things about this scrub. What your putting on your body is REAL and it works, naturally.
It contains Arabica coffee blend to soften and smooth skin, brown sugar and sea salt to cleanse and clarify and cold pressed almond oil to soothe and moisturize.
The ingredients also contain essential oils and minerals.

Targeted at cellulite, stretch marks and dry, tired skin, what ISN’T good about this product!? Nothing. Not even the price! It retails for an inexpensive cost of $14.95AU with worldwide shipping! (Free shipping within Australia only). Yep, amazing, I know. I received mine within days of purchasing as well, which I was really pleased with.

Easy to use, all you need to do is get naked, get in the shower and start massaging your skin in circular motions with the coffee scrub, making sure to concentrate on problem areas such as any patches of overly dry skin.
You only need about two small handfuls to cover your entire body – another bonus, as one pouch should last you a decent amount of time.
Once your body (and face if you like) is entirely covered, it’s suggested that you leave it to dry on your skin for 5 to 10 minutes before rinsing. I highly recommend following this step, as this is when your skin will soak up most of the vitamins, minerals and essential oils.

This product is available now for purchase at www.frankbody.com as well as Frank’s limited addition Coconut and Grapseed Coffee Scrub, which I have already purchased and am super excited to try. I’ve already opened it to have a smell and it smells AMAZING! You can never have enough coconut in your life ;)

I hope you all enjoyed this review!

My Number 1 Beach Beauty Essential: In A Good Light SPF 30+

Hey guys!

Since it’s now Summer here in Melbourne and the weather is finally starting to heat up enough to head to the beach (yay), I thought I would let you in on ‘My Number 1 Beach Beauty Essential’ — In A Good Light SPF 30+ by Mecca Cosmetica.

I came across this product a few years ago and I have never looked back! It’s one of my most loved summer must haves.

Here’s what the label on the bottle says:
"In A Good Light SPF 30+ is a luminising, tinted facial sunscreen that provides broad spectrum protection against UVA and UVB rays in a hydrating, matte finish cream. A multitasking wonder, it gives skin a sheer tint and a ‘lit from within’ natural radiance. This preparation may aid in the prevention of some skin cancers, premature skin ageing and sun spots. Contains SPF 30+ with hyaluronic acid, pomegranate extract and vitamin E in a non oily and non whitening formula."

Agreed 100%! This product is definitely everything it claims to be.

Protecting your skin from the damages of the sun is very important and who doesn’t want to look good while they’re doing it!?
This is the perfect product for taking care of your skin whilst still looking fabulous on those hot sweaty summer days without having to wear heavy SPF containing makeup or another kind of thick whitening sunscreen that makes you resemble a ghost.

I never used to be a fan of wearing sunscreen on my face as I really disliked how it would make my skin feel and look - washed out, shiny and clogged which was really annoying for me when I would go to the beach because like most of you I’m sure, I cannot stand wearing makeup to the beach but I still like to look nice and have a little bit of colour. Finding this product was truly a life saver! It’s so light, it doesn’t look greasy (only when very first applied), it gives you a sheer, shimmery glow like you’re wearing a nice light illuminating foundation (but you’re not, woo!) and it lasts all day. In fact, it looks better and better on my skin as the day goes on. I could go straight from the beach out to drinks and be perfectly happy with how my skin looks. Amazing :)

I have never gotten sunburnt whilst using In A Good Light SPF 30+ and usually only reapply once when I’m out in the sun for a full day. I usually just wear it when I’m heading to the beach but it’s also great for wearing it out on any given sunny day for that extra bit of sun protection.
I like to wear it over my normal moisturiser and thats enough for me but it can also work as a really good illuminating primer if you’d like to wear makeup on top of it as well.

Highly recommend purchasing this product. You only have to use a tiny pea sized amount so one bottle will last you a really long time. In fact, I’m still using the original bottle I bought a few years ago!

You can pick up this little gem at any Mecca Cosmetica store or online for $50AU.

Hope you all have a lovely summer everyone! Keep hydrated and take care of your beautiful skin!

Product Review: NARS Radiant Creamy Concealer ♡

image
Concealer is a girls best friend right?

Well this one is a keeper and it’s never leaving my makeup collection! ♡
This product is definitely a MUST!

Here’s my opinion why:

  • It’s super hydrating and creamy with long lasting staying power like you wouldn’t believe!
  • It’s crease proof and leaves a luminous finish.
  • It stays put! Great for my combination to oily skin as it doesn’t move around on top of my natural oils whilst at the same time being perfect for dry skin because of its hydrating skincare benefits. It really is the perfect formula! :)

That’s just the top three of my favourite points! I’ve honestly never come across a concealer (yet anyway) that’s better or even comes close.

I personally use this concealer on top of my foundation to cover/highlight my under eye circles but it can also be used to cover redness, blemishes or acne scars anywhere on your face.

Lightweight medium to high build able coverage makes it easy to achieve the perfect look day or night. Again - Long lasting and non drying without being oily! Perfect!!

I highly suggest to give NARS Radiant Creamy Concealer a try. You won’t regret it, it’s seriously amazing! I’ve gotten all of my friends on to it already ;)

I purchased my NARS Radiant Creamy Concealer at Mecca Cosmetica for $35 AU.
My shade: Honey (Warm Peach).
Link:  http://www.meccacosmetica.com.au/shop/Nars/RadiantCreamyConcealer/

If you haven’t used concealer before, you should definitely give it a try whether it be this product or another. It really makes your makeup look complete.
Like I mentioned earlier, it has many different uses and you really will be stunned at the benefits that a great concealer can do for you.
If you’re already a fan of concealer, please let me know if you have a favourite that you just can’t give up! I’m sure there is plenty that I’m yet to try and I’d love to know what you guys use!

Hope you enjoyed this quick review! ♡ Let me know if this is something you would like more of :)

Have a lovely day guys!
